Around Plymouth
Craig Munday

Some time spent over the border in Devon recently. Firstly at the Ground Frame at Keyham for the colourful DBC/ DRS class 66 combo on 1st September, then on the 4th, the equally colourful Loram class 20 visit to the city. 20142 leads 20007 away from the former parcel docks bound for Derby. The Loram crew advise this will be the last visit (for now) of the locomotives to Plymouth. Also pictured on 4th is the NHS thanks liveried 802020 in the station. Kind regards Craig

Uncovered remains of the original railway. 28th June 2020. Copyright Andrew Jones.
Unfortunately Cormac when resurfacing the Camel Trail earlier in the year damaged the original Ruthernbridge Railway bridge and access to Grogley Halt is now restricted to pedestrian traffic only. It was found that the original decking was not up to 20 ton lorries crossing so we await funding for repairs.
Many thanks to Diane and Andrew.
