60 Years ago on Saturday 3rd September 1955 the very first ever Traction Engine Rally took place at Coombe near Camborne. There were 6 full size engines and 1 steam car present at the gathering. Over the years the event has taken place at various sites, mostly in the Redruth-St Agnes area of Cornwall. It now takes place at the Stithians Showground, and this years event was held over 3 days 14-16 August 2015.
