Hope you are keeping well and the weather is holding up in God's Own Country ( Devon & Cornwall ) but you knew that of course! I noticed recently you carried an article on the Society website which included Westbury at which point I remembered a fleeting visit to the engine shed there in, I'm pretty sure, 1962. I'm sure a couple of fellow train spotters and I were feeling adventurous having arrived at Bristol Temple Meads from South Wales earlier in the day and thought we would try somewhere new and we ended up in Westbury.
I thought the couple of photographs I took on that Sunday afternoon may be of some interest, although clearly there was no improvement in my photographic technique than there had been of the photos I sent you taken in Plymouth that summer. So apologies once again for the quality but, as you see in the first there's a line up of Western steam taken in front of the engine shed at Wesbury unfortunately I have no information regarding the identity of the loco's. While the other is of 5967 Bickmarsh Hall standing silently no doubt having the day off, somewhere in the main yard. Best wishes Adrian King Thank you Adrian
