The annual visit of the weedkiller doesn't conjure as much magic when class 20s used to visit with the Fisons / Chipmans train. The Network Rail Multi pupose vehicles (MPVs) are a practical rail vehicle, with inter changeable "pods" which can work more cheaply than a loco hauled train, and I'm surprised more aren't used on the railway network.
