Not sure whether you know this but the class57/6s sleeper locos are going back to RVEL at Derby for overhaul starting with 57603 Tintagel Castle according to this months Railways Illustrated.
There had been speculation that they were to have new engines to match the class 43’s but this is not to happen. They will have a G-exam and body & engine overhaul at Derby & 57603 should return to traffic mid-Jan.
