I forgot to say that at Meeth I took a shot from the lineside roughly where Mike Roach was standing when he took his "mystery" photo of a train at the platform, which was one of your items recently. I wondered whether you might do a "then and now" comparison.

Please find attached a photo of 66190 nearing journeys end at Golant this afternoon. It was running very early due to the rail strike, which meant the sun was very head-on, this let me venture to the opposite side of the harbour for a bit of a change.
16 JIA’s today, still a little short of the tonnage a full rake of 38 CDA’s would have carried, perhaps when the previously stored JIA’s and JGA’s make it out we’ll see even longer rakes making the journey up and down the branches..?

A nice day today so we decided to have a look around Minions and visit the Cheesewring.
I noted before leaving that the CRS had a trip there in 2003 and there were still some vestiges of rail in place.
Well it has become a little more overgrown since then (!) but still some metals in place - thought you might be amused by a photo of our dog Lulu about to cross the tracks near the entrance to the quarry. Hope there are no trains running today!
