A couple of pictures from the archives, all taken September 1962
917 the 3.05pm from Plymouth to Launceston heads north at Lower Goodameavy between Shaugh Bridge and Clearbrook Halts
918 the Launceston to Tavistock Junction freight, including Conflat wagons carrying containers conveying tins of rice pudding from Ambrosia at Lifton
919 the 4.30pm auto train propelling uphill from Whitchurch Down Halt to Grenofen Tunnel. After closure of the line three months later the Launceston to Tavistock Junction freight continued to run but from Lydford it headed south over the former Southern Route through Bere Alston.
