Yes, we have had an FGW interloper at Pinhoe(2047)tonight. In pouring rain 150221 works the 2042 5Z11 Exeter(St David’s) – Castle Cary via Honiton which I assume was a route refresher trip or route learning run. The unit was due to return around midnight. Yes, I will give that a miss.

150 221 will be routed over the connecting metals between Yeovil Junction and Yeovil Pen Mill. Pinhoe signalbox which once controlled the level crossing here is now resident at Bere Ferrers station. Copyright David Tozer
