To commemorate this special birthday, new owners Keith and Sara Southwell will be unveiling their new locomotive and its highly secret name, as chosen by Lappa Valley’s visitors at a special naming ceremony on the evening of Saturday 4 July. New owner, Keith Southwell said “We are so excited about all of the great additions we have made to the park since taking over ownership last year. We are proud to present our visitors with a beautiful new steam engine and felt it only right it was named by our visitors who are always so supportive of us.”
The new engine will be steaming from Sunday 5 July.
To celebrate 40 years and the exciting addition of the new steam engine from 5 July, Lappa Valley will be holding a week of celebrations with extra activities including special performances all included in the entrance fee!
