Many thanks to Craig Munday
37421 has been in action on the NR test train, and 66848 on RILA duties. Both visiting Newquay.
I was around the Plymouth area last evening for 5Z69 arrival at Laira from Norwich with DRS class 68 68024 working the train. The carriages are Mk3s for refurbishment. The depot was quiet with crystal clear light so some class 08 pictures at work were also obtained. Former Penzance 08644 lokked great in BR blue marshalling Mk3 around, as did Laira favourite 08641 in it's garish "large logo" livery.
The loco was stabled over night in the sidings adjacent to the main line, and joined Colas crash victim 70803. Poignant as they stood where many desolate withdrawn diesel hydraulics had stood 40 years before.
Also included is 66848 on RILA duties at Par. Also 1C73 at Scorrier and 66023 on Treverrin bank from today.
Kind regards Craig. Many thanks for your bumper bundle Craig
