LCGB: A2 Commemorative Railtour 14/8/66 BR Standard 7MT pacific no. 70004 William Shakespeare at Westbury. The A2, 60532 Blue Peter, had suffered grievously during the day's events and had been scheduled to hand over the reins to 70004 at Westbury for the short trip to Salisbury at which point 60532 would continue with the stock to Waterloo. In the event, 60532 was deemed to be not fit for purpose - tour was already about 2h 40m behind schedule - and so 70004 carried on to London making up about an hour of the lost time in the process.
