The new catering service at Penzance Station
Roger Winnen

Many months ago the Station Buffet at Penzance closed, a re development plan for that area together with a new catering facility has yet to be built. This week we have a new service supplying food and drink to refresh you on your journey situated just outside the station entrance.

Hi Keith
Another Test Train duty in Darkest Cornwall. This time Green liveried class 37/0 37057 provided the traction for our three coach Structure Gauging train which visited Plymouth Friary & Gunnislake.
The evening began very foggy after the earlier heavy rain had cleared, The loco's headlight eerily carving into the dense mist as we rocked along the former L&SWR.
The conditions improved as we returned dropping down along the River Tamar, and the mist then lay low like liquid nitrogen in the river along Tamerton Foliot and Ernesettle. The Tamar bridge & Royal Albert stood against a moonlight sky as we passed under. Pictures were obtained en route.
Kind regards,  Craig.
Many thanks Indeed Craig - a late night out!

73/9's in Devon
David Tozer

Hi Keith,   Well I started off with 143617/621 & 150234 working the 1424 Exmouth - Paignton. However matters went down hill for the Class 73/9's. As 73951 & 73952 appeared a Class 150/2 working a service from Paignton pulled away in front of the camera. I did manage a shot of them heading away. I believe this is called being 'stuffed'. For the record they were working the 1003 0V84 Derby R.T.C. to Plymouth.
Dave   Sometimes you win sometimes you don't! A good try, many thanks.
