Another Test Train duty in Darkest Cornwall. This time Green liveried class 37/0 37057 provided the traction for our three coach Structure Gauging train which visited Plymouth Friary & Gunnislake.Â
The evening began very foggy after the earlier heavy rain had cleared, The loco's headlight eerily carving into the dense mist as we rocked along the former L&SWR.Â
The conditions improved as we returned dropping down along the River Tamar, and the mist then lay low like liquid nitrogen in the river along Tamerton Foliot and Ernesettle. The Tamar bridge & Royal Albert stood against a moonlight sky as we passed under. Pictures were obtained en route.
Kind regards, Craig.
Many thanks Indeed Craig - a late night out!
