Arrived in to Plymouth on the ex Paddington to find half a class 47 on old parcels sidings. Apparently been in Plymouth station since the 1990’s for teaching school children all about railways. Guard said it was on the way to somewhere in South Wales. Have no numbers and no pictures due to lack of time. Regards
No the photo isn’t mine. I kick myself for not being faster with the camera. Engine / cab was being loaded onto a low loader for onwards transport. The guard also mentioned that this was all part of the redevelopment of the front of the station including the demolition of the office block! Hopefully someone else might spot the cab on its move.
