Track renewals between Redruth to Truro.
Week three, days one and two, work is moving on and we are between Wheal Bois and Scorrier 21 & 22/01/2017.
By Mick House.

Today we are heading from Wheal Bois towards Scorrier and in anticipation that we are not going to receive so much material this weekend, we will be combining all Saturday and Sundays photographs under the one heading on the Features page.
More photos will be added to the features page when they come in.

Pentewan Railway
Wheal Martyn Musuem
Picture
The former Former Pentewan Loco at Wheal Martyn Museum 28th November 2014 Copyright Roger Winnen. This is the remains of a loco that was once used (in the 1950's) at the back of Pentewan beach for the purpose of removing sand for use in the building industry. In the background the conical shape of a ';clay tip' can be seen once a feature in the area but many have now been flattened.
If you are planning to visit Cornwall this year a place to visit is the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum in the heart of 'clay country' near St Austell.  www.wheal-martyn.com/
