Near Trowbridge Martin Scane
Hi Keith. Another rather poor photo from my youth. This is dated as August 1964 and shows 4082 Windsor Castle (which was Bristol Castle previously) heading west of Trowbridge at Ladydown heading either towards Bath or , perhaps more likely in view of the 4 coach train, Chippenham via Melksham.

Middleway Crossing Ron Kosys
On my second Western Railrover 1971, I wandered around to Middleway Crossing on the afternoon of Saturday 21st August to photograph the 0952 Paddington – Newquay behind 803.
Note the milky white stream.
The thing that sticks in my mind from travelling around the place that week was just how atrocious the weather was for virtually the whole time. Almost solid overcast crud, clearing hazy low cloud if I was lucky. If I saw the sun I threw a party.... Just look at how naff this day was, nor helped by my low quality camera and slide film.

Good Morning Keith, looking back through some negs I found these pics which I took at a Paignton & Dartmouth Railway gala back in 1993. The three '37's worked together during the day and in the evening headed a train back to Bristol which I caught to Taunton.
