A visit to Okehampton station on Sunday 11 August found plenty of people about with at least 50 seated customers at the excellent station buffet during the lunch time peak.

also of a class 143 on the 1303 from St James Park before returning at 1400. These trains each carried about 40 passengers.
The Dartmoor Railway Supporters Association chartered trains of 3 each way between Okehampton and Meldon are running every Sunday in August.
