Keith, I recently purchased, from a well known auction site, two railway photographs one of which may be of interest to your website readers. The interesting one is of Trenance Viaduct, Newquay and there is a handwritten note in pencil on the back of the photo which names the viaduct and dates it as 1906. I am not sure of the class of loco, perhaps your readers may be able to help. The second photo is of Terrier class loco "Brighton Works" at an unknown location. I hope you find them to be of interest.

Re the Trenance Viaduct picture I think this is of a 35XX Great Western tank - they were built in 1884 and did operate in our part of the world - some were later modified and fitted with tenders.

Brighton Works Stroudley Terrier 377S was photographed at Caterham station in Surrey on Sunday 6th August 1956 and it was Celebrating 100 years of the Caterham Railway Company 1856 to 1956, the train ran the short distance from Purley to Caterham and back.
