The last few weeks have topped the rest of 2015 for continuous sunshine I reckon! The sun blazed on today near Lostwithiel at Milltown. Myself Ivan Stewart & Nathan Stockman took in the late afternoon sun waiting for the RHTT & Parkandillack to Fowey clay which was a tad later than usual today. After a few ropey clouds scudded across our bows, we were rewarded with beautiful crisp sunlight dropping slowly in the wets behind us, and the foliage colours really stood out.
The Rail Vac is down to Lostwithiel tomorrow, so will try to get some shots before my shift tomorrow. Look forward to that.

A nice bit of height there, takes in the ancient town of Lostwithiel as well. Diffficult to realise the curvature of the line here, it bends around passing in front of those flats resurected from the old Cornwall Minerals Railway buildings. 13th October 2015 Copyright Craig Munday
