Class 150 002 on holiday                         Roger Winnen

17/8/2014

Enthusiasts were disappointed to hear that due to the lack of a driver and guard that the loco hauled service from Par to Exeter and return to Penzance was not to run.  However, as he had already purchased a ticket to Exeter Roger decided to go anyway and was well pleased with what he found in replacement of the loco hauled service.  150 002 which is normally to be found on the Reading to Basingstoke  service departed from its usual pastures and took a run to Plymouth where it took up the loco hauled services duty.
