Hi Keith,
Some busy scenes at YVJ today (23rd December 2023), with the arrival of the 07.15 Peterborough to Sherborne Carol Service special, 1Z15.
This was hauled by royal 67006 Royal Sovereign, and continued to Yeovil jct Heritage Centre for servicing.
Also shown is 159015 tailing a Waterloo to Exeter working, with in the background as the steam Santa special.

Christmas at Bodmin

I think I found the only patch of sun in Cornwall yesterday (23.12.23), and happily it was at the right time and place to illuminate GWR Prarie Tank 5552 bringing the 13:00 Bodmin Railway Christmas train up the bank at Charlie's Gate.
The Christmas trains run again today (24.12.23) and then on Friday the 29th December there is a 'Winter Steam Up' with 5552 and Port-of-Par Bagnall Saddle Tank 'Judy' providing the motive power.
