On behalf of Henry Orchard & Sons Limited, I have been asked to help with the disposal of selection of scraped CDA maker’s plates.
A request has been made that as many as possible stay in Cornwall.
For a chance to own one of these unique plates, CRS members are able to purchase one at £40 each, with all the money going to the Fowey Life Boat charity.
This offer will run up until Christmas, after which the remaining plates will be released to the rest of the UK at £50 each.
Unfortunately it has also been brought to our attention that some have been stolen from the wagons while stored in St Blazey, the numbers of these have been passed on to Devon & Cornwall Police and BTP. If you are offered a plate from an unknown source please report to the authorities.
