I would just like to draw your attention to the following piece of film on the British Film Institute website.
Filmed by Mitchell and Kenyon reputedly in 1901 it shows a fascinating journey from The Royal Albert Bridge through St Budeaux and Keyham showing various works and the replacement of the original Weston Mill Viaduct.
Hopefully if not seen before this will be of interest to you and your members.

Many thanks for your continued efforts on your excellent website.
Regards Mr J Gough Many thanks to you Jon,
A superb piece of film - full of surprises. A delightful view of an electric tram scurrying over the bridge just west of Keyham - it was on its way towards the terminus by the Saltash ferry below the RAB. The excerpt finishes just as you are expecting to see Ford Platform, however you don't as it was taken three years before the platform opened. You'll want to watch it several times over.
