The Mid Hants Railway

I saw the excellent coverage of the JIAs out of and CDAs into Par Docks yesterday (when was the last time the docks branch saw two trains on a single day I wonder?!), I missed the event but made my own record of the unusual sight of CDAs at that location 'over the fence' during the afternoon. Since ten wagons are destined for preservation, from ground level I had assumed that there must have been two wagons parked on the right (not so, as Jon's wonderful aerial views clearly show - we are fortunate that it was good drone-flying weather on the day!) so I was surprised to find 375102 parked by itself next to St Blazey's turntable as I made my way home. The reason for its separation from the rest is unknown. Developments awaited with interest.
I also diverted to Middleway to check progress on the dismantling of the remaining CDAs. Of the 28 former operational wagons withdrawn in August, 19 currently remain intact in two rows of nine and ten, with no dismembered parts or activity visible.
Best regards,
