Penwithers Engineering Trains

Below are some photos taken yesterday (6th) and today (7th) of the engineering trains I have managed to find South of Truro.

Flying Scotsman stopped at
Slough

I've just received this from Colin Pidgeon who has allowed me to pass this on,
I wonder what sort of coal 60103 was burning?It seemed OK at Kemble for the safety valves lifted whilst being watered!  See MY photo attached, please.Kind regards,  Ken

Hi Ken.
The reason for Flying Scotsman being stopped at Slough was due to poor coal! Colin.
