I have finished the footbridge now and this photo might be of interest for the website. It's quite timely as I read some where about an application to the council to shift or modify the St Erth footbridge. I'm firm believer that these things should due maintained and preserved as part of the regions rich heritage and tourist attractions.
The model is as it was in the late fifties and painted as per researching the Sid Geake photos on the website. It also features the details long gone such as the original GWR valancing and the smoke deflectors. The model is made from more 700 pieces and some internal detail such as hand rails and steps , are just detectable in the photo.
Kind regards Steve Well done Steve and many thanks
