Today we continue with Craigs latest batch of recent photographs with four more as we enjoy his privilege as railway staff to go where we fear to tread. ![]() The glorious weather continued up to and beyond the 1st June 2020. Here we see 66012 arrive at Carne Point, Fowey in divine light. The retiming of around 14.30 into the complex allows a fully lit inside shot. The old timing meant the shadows from the enormous trees were already over the lines as the sun sank West. The loco has just cut off from the first loaded CDAs and is drawing forward to couple onto the permanent barrier wagons to assist with the positioning of the loaded wagons. Copyright Craig Munday. Many many thanks for your latest batch of sunny views Craig. Keep up the good work. Visiting Long Rock Roger Salter A visit to Long Rock found 57605 Totnes Castle with sleeper stock & nowhere to go during the Pandemic, whilst the growth of vegetation takes hold over our old signal box area stopping access for photographers without cutting equipment It is now impossible to walk on the top of the wall which overlooks the carpark to Long Rock Level Crossing. Copyright Roger Salter From the Level Crossing this was the access between the granite wall and the barrier lights to obtain views of the railway which is now obliterated. Copyright Roger Salter Growth has now taken over at Long Rock. Copyright Roger Salter Thanks Roger Bye bye blue! St Ives branch Mark Lynam Mark keeps well outside the fence and still gets smashing views as are possible on the St Ives branch to record the travels of the last 'blue 150' as it puts in a days work on the branch. Many thanks Mark for your record of what was obviously a good afternoon out in superb weather, hope you used to sun screen!
