I decided to have a quiet afternoon at Par today. You would not think it was Summer with so little movement of passengers due to the Covid 19 virus.
There were no clay trains running between Fowey and Goonbarrow on the the Clay. Only the Clay tanker train to Bescot with 66175 in charge running almost an hour early.
With up and down four coach services passing within ten minutes of each other it seemed rather deserted. The usual Castles, 150s and 158 carrying out the shuttle services to and from Plymouth. There would be only a handful of passengers for each train. With restrictions changing next week for holiday accommodation and hospitality it will be interesting to see what changes take place with volumes of people on trains.
