Apologies for poor resolution, but the first is of 5180 at York stabling point a year before it was transferred. At the time I snapped it, it would have been unimaginable to think it, or any Class 25 would turn up in Cornwall.
The second is of Neil himself in the cab of D6328 on the scrap line at Laira...just in case anyone was wondering what he looked like! (Before the RAF chopped off all his hair).
