Flying Scotsman
It was a super weekend with the visit of 60103 Flying Scotsman to the Duchy once again, topped this time with a visit to St Blazey for a spin on the turntable. A huge number of railway industry colleagues were involved in the safe running and security of this service, and I was delighted to be asked to be travelling MOM on board from Exeter St Davids and return. I boarded the train and joined my Bristol colleague Dave Withers for a run to the west. Watching carefully for any trespass or other incidents affecting the route.
It was trouble free with an on time arrival at Par and the turntable move done with perfect execution and planning. My daughter Katie was heavily involved with the planning, along with Martin Duff, and she makes her CRS debut in these images.
Here are some pictures taken from the day at Plymouth, Par & St Blazey.
Best wishes, Craig Munday.
