St Austell Viaduct
Roy Hart
Roy has kindly written in with some an extra observation concerning te view of St Austell Viaduct supplied by Mike Roach.
Picture
St Austell Viaduct - From the GW Magazine March 1934. Submitted by Mike Roach.
Roy writes :- At the right hand end of the viaduct, in the picture from Mike Roach, Trenance Junction signal box is visible. This was the junction for the long-forgotten Trenance valley branch. It closed in 1949, replaced by a ground frame. The branch closed in 1968, though disused for some years before  that.

Roy Hart
Many thanks Roy.
