I managed to get well and truly caught out by 50149 returning to St Blazey on Monday 11th April 1988. I clearly wasn’t expecting it when it appeared at Lostwithiel and caught me wrong side for the sun.
Such a pity seeing as it had a really interesting mix of wagons behind it.
I managed to get in front of it again to get a second shot as it arrived at Par. Unfortunately it was hardly worth the effort, the sun being far from an acceptable angle. These are your opinions Ron, but, not, I think of the viewers, as usual excellent, and many thanks.
