Possibly the first Freightliner 66 at Pinhoe David Tozer ![]() Possibly the first ever visit of a Freightliner Class to Pinhoe. 66556 with the 1050 0Z80 Westbury to Castle Cary. Travelling via Castle Cary to Taunton and Exeter. Then to Honiton and Yeovil Junction to Castle Cary. It was then scheduled to do the route in reverse. Possibly in connection with the closure of the GWR main line. Copyright David Tozer Thanks David Bodmin Parkway Chris Harvey Many thanks Chris. Respryn Alan Peters Many thanks Alan for your autumn scenes. Abandoned move! Karl Hewlett Unfortunately class 37425's move to Penzance was cancelled today having only got as far as Lipson Junction, it was then routed straight into Laira T&RSMD. To add further misfortune it is not attempting to do another run to Penzance and is going straight back to Crewe Gresty Bridge DRS from either Park Sidings or Laira. I have put Laira in as since this morning it has gone into hiding there with no further details since, the times for this run are: *Thursday 24th September 37425 Plymouth Park Sidings or Laira T&RSMD to Crewe Gresty Bridge DRS* https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/R07541/2020-09-24/detailed I would urge anyone who is attempting to photograph this move to keep checking the link, I have a suspicion that the dodgy wheel flat has to be sorted at Laira before it is allowed to move great distance. Regards Karl (Friends Of Penmere Station). Many thanks Karl for your latest up date
