Following Andrews report yesterday I took these detailed photos today which I regard as historical interest in their last days here in Cornwall.

Andrew Triggs

HST Power Cars 43194/190 worked 8 MK3's for storage at Penzance from Laira this Wednesday afternoon (running as 5Z79 12.55 Laira TMD-Longrock TMD), the formation then was left on Old Bank at Ponsandane, while the 2 Power Cars were coupled together to form 0Z77 17.15 Longrock TMD-Laira TMD, departing from Penzance station eventually at 17.25

Very well worth reading lots of pictures.
With many thanks to David Tozer for drawing our attention to the following extremely interesting article on the Cowley Bridge and Axe closure along with detail of the flood prevention work. https://www.railengineer.uk/2018/11/15/flood-resilience-schemes-in-southwest-england/
