Engineering works  Ponsandane

During a visit to Long Rock Depot during its construction the Cornwall Railway Society learnt that the disused land at Ponsandane was going to be developed into additional sidings to increase capacity at the depot.
Work has commenced during the last couple of days removing the infill between the former loading banks. It is believed that Mounts Bay Coaches will also be moving from their site. What the full plans are. time will tell!
