Driver training to
Okehampton
David Tozer

David Tozer writes - Ladies & Gents,
From Monday times have appeared on the real-time train website for driver / route learning. One step nearer to services commencing. Dave
Many thanks David - very nice to hear of things coming together. One wonders when the Parkway station at Okehampton is planned - that could bring in a lot of traffic.

Not the Mazey Day
Craig Munday
Hi Keith

Another unsettled week weather wise. 2021 has been almost unique for poor weather coinciding with every special visitor down west.

I grabbed some decent sunshine for the midweek clay working this week as 66133 departed Goonbarrow and later passed Golant at high tide on 15th.

Saturday saw the visit of the postponed Pathfinder tour held over since Mazey Day. 50007 and 50049 brought railway revellers to the Penzance's pubs. Photos in both directions were taken at Angarrack and Scorrier, the light pulsing between dark clouds and bursts of sun making the task difficult. A bonus of Apex bridge being cut back was exploited with a definite Autumn twang in the air and undergrowth, the 50s pass the familiar A30 sign on the return.

Best wishes, Craig .

Many thanks Craig for your latest consignment. 'Us Cornish were proper 'mazed' at the rotten weather for Mazey Day'!
