I went to Kemble to see 1Q15 heading south due 1313 and after reversing at Swindon heading back through Kemble at 1410.
I was very pleased to see that both platform had been well covered in salt. I later found out that a staff member had been at the station since 5-30 that morning doing this superb job of gritting!
I waited until 2-15 pm and then returned home.
At home I look at the latest for 1Q15 - it was 8 minutes LATE at Hereford. Interesting that it left Derby 27 LATE, passed Tamworth 29 LATE, Water Orton 8 LATE, Kidderminster 1 LATE, Ledbury 10 LATE and Hereford [passed, stopped or depart?? 8 LATE.
Then the next record of its journey was leaving [probably?] Hereford 160 LATE - WHY??? WHAT HAPPENED AT HEREFORD FOR THE DELAY??
Still back at home - I consulted REAL TRAIN TIMES which told me that 1Q15 woul be reversing in Swindon (Cockleberry Sidings) via platform 1 [due to pass at 1618] returning via platform 3 [ at 1626] to return up the Gloucester branch.
SO I went to Swindon station in time to see 1Q15!
It didn't turn up BUT on at least one previous ocassion in the past [when it was quite late] this working missed out Gloucester to Swindon and return!
SO with missing out Gloucester - Swindon - Gloucester, REAL TRAIN TIMES gives Gloucester has 1Q16 being 167 LATE with its next report being Lydney passing 44 LATE. The rest of 1Q15's journey - see Real Train Times.
LATEST - In the Hereford area power car 43013 lost power. Thus it became quite late before it left the area, in fact 160 LATE and was 167 LATE at Gloucester. Thus the Gloucester - Swindon - Gloucester section was missed out which has happened at least once before!
