Roger's photo yesterday of D1048 heading coaches west through Marazion on Sunday 16th May 1976 can be identified as the 5B79 0945 Par - Penzance ECS.   D1048 started the day from St Blazey shed then ran light to St Erth from Penzance (0A21) from where it later departed with the 6A21 1640 Acton milk tanks.  No idea what the class 50 in the next shot was up to though.

First passing Treesmill on its way from Goonbarrow to Fowey at around 13:00, and then again later on crossing Rock Mill viaduct on the Newquay branch taking the empty wagons back to Goonbarrow at around 18:45.
