Pilning & the By-pass route
Colin Burges
The passenger figure for Pilning is quite amazing when the service is clearly one the operator doesn't want anyone to use. Interesting figures and video.

Further west and I've only had 45 people sign my petition, despite sending the link to campaign groups who claim to want bypass routes. Please sign.

Many thanks for your contributions Clive - they are much appreciated - you were out and about on quite a miserable day.

Exeter St Davids - Newcourt
Ron Kosys
A very rare working to get caught on camera. This is 7002 passing through St Davids 26th August 1971 with a special heading for what I believe to be a working to Newcourt R.N. Depot on the Exmouth branch.  Ron Kosys,  Many thanks Ron.

Roger's Second Job
Breage Silver Band

What on earth has this got to do with railways?  Our roving reporter Roger has been absent from the rails for a couple of weeks due to him being heavily engaged with the Breage Silver Band seen here playing carols to a very appreciative audience at Marazion Sailing Club.

Roger is the gentleman on the horn just to the left of centre in this picture. The date was the 14th December 2018
Picture
A general view of the band looking very smart entertaining the sailors at Marazion Sailing Club/ A nice indoor job for Roger this time, many of the bands engagements have been outside in some pretty unpleasant weather. 14th December 2018
