Braving the elements today to photograph the Engineering trains in the Hayle area as part of the 8 day possession for CRS...unsurprisingly I got rather wet but as Queen sang 'The Show Must Go On', 6 shots enclosed anyway (using my mobile phone camera)

 Photos of the New Bridge installation at Hayle Causeway

During atrocious weather yesterday & early this morning with storm Dennis coming I managed these photos of the replacement work at Causeway Bridge on the St.Ives Branch  Line.
The new bridge section finally arrived as the driver couldn’t travel on Cornish roads at night but needed to wait for the 1000ton lift crane to have its jibs attached
This morning Network Rail were busy clearing the track & embankment for old bridge removal, weather permitting!!!!
