Fowey
Jon Hird
9 JIA’s went to Goonbarrow on Saturday morning, but only 7 were loaded and taken to Fowey.
Then, one seems to have been left behind at Fowey, as only 6 wagons were behind the loco as it came back up the branch!
Hope they are of interest to you.
All the best, Jon

I have included a couple of shots below from the woods then one at Golant.
1. 66199 before unloading at Fowey Docks after working 6G09 1216 Goonbarrow Junction Dbc to Fowey Dock Carne Point, with cargo ship Bon Vivant in the distance.
2. The end two wagons being unloaded in the shed. The Traverser behind now out of use due to the JIAs being too long to use it.
3. 66199 at Golant on the return journey at high tide sadly the sun went in just before the train appeared, working an early 6G05 1957 Fowey Dock Carne Point to Goonbarrow Junction Dbc.
Thanks,
Mark Lynam
