Gunnislake Branch Train in collision with a Parcel Delivery Van near Calstock

An accident occurred yesterday afternoon on the ungated crossing just before Calstock at approx 16.00hrs involving a DPD Parcel Delivery Van and the 150216 on the 15.45 Gunnislake to Plymouth service.
Neither of the drivers and passengers of the train were injured, however both drivers were shaken.
Road replacement service then operated throughout the day until the last train off the night being the 21.31 Plymouth to Gunnislake and returning as the 22.21 Gunnislake to Exeter St David's.

25th April 1988 was a fantastically sunny day. It started early for me at Heathfield and I followed its workings for the whole day.
Late afternoon it headed to Carne Point to work a rake of empties back to St Blazey.
Unfortunately I won with the sun but lost with the tide as it passes the empty harbour at Golant.
 
I hope that you won’t get fed up of seeing shots of 50149?.
