A reminder that our last meeting on the 2021/22 season features Eric Rabjohns. a very knowledgeable gentleman who will be presenting an evening on the Redruth & Chacewater Railway. This is on Saturday 14th May at 6.30 PM - the Memorial Hall, Redruth Methodist Church. See our indoor events programe for details of this location - this is an open evening - come and enjoy!  Meetings then recommence on Saturday 10th September 2022 when Roger Webster shows films of the Isle of Man Railways together with stills, not to be missed.

Bere Ferrers
James Bown

I travelled on the Gunnislake Branch from Bere Ferrers to Gunnislake on Monday of this week (9th May 2022) and took the enclosed picture as a reminder of how this delightful line looks at this time of the year. If the picture is of any use then feel free to use it otherwise I hope you just enjoy the verdant image of a country railway station. Best wishes James Bown

Many thanks for sending your view in James.

An interesting collection
John Roberts

Quite a few shots of our area from the RCTS Collection. As there’s no search function it’s not very helpful unless you have hours to browse. Also lots of signalling interest for Nick.

The pictures in this collection all appear to be watermarked which is understandable.
Many thanks John.
