Quite why I framed this the way I did, I have absolutely no idea.....
22nd September 1987
59001 runs into Salisbury with the Foster Yeoman service from Merehead to Salisbury.
This train was discharged in the former Southern Railway yard to the south/east of Salisbury station,
rather than the former Great Western yard at Fisherton.
Note the spire of Salisbury Cathedral above the 59.
