Hello Roger,Happy New Year to you and thanks to all for contributing to and maintaining the excellent website.Very impressed to see you were at the station at 10pm for the Freightliner 66 and later for The noteworthy workings,well done to all.
I send the first of some pictures taken at Cardiff on a bright day on 17 February 1988,different liveries to see and very busy with freight.

I visted Patchway on a number of occasions but never seemed to do well with the weather. Did I just pick the wrong days when I wasn’t working, or was it because the weather is generally dull in this country.
I suppose it could have been both....  Many thanks anyway Ron - a rare picture.
