Alan Peters
The young Alan as a passenger on board a train heading east taken as a self portrait with Truro Cathedral in the background was an obvious choice as was the very impressive view of Penzance station taken from the sea wall.
The remaining three sent by Alan follow below.

I have attached a rarity taken at Molinnis Crossing just south of Bugle station in 1971.
We forget just how much heritage has been swept away and in this view the lamps and some steam infrastructure still hangs on as does the original double track layout at this location.
I have also attached a a shipment label, does anyone know if Pentruff Works was rail connected and if so are there any photographs in existence.
Thank you to all the contributors this month, coverage of the exciting relaying of the Okehampton line has been excellent and the 1961 rail tour by Mike Roach was exceptional, we are very lucky!
Very best wishes Andrew and Diane. See note below from Chris Bellett.

Nice to see the 1971 photograph of Molinnis Level Crossing at Bugle. Before anybody asks, the level crossing Ground Frame, Gates and Signals were recovered on 17 August 1973 (WR Weekly Engineering Notice K2/32/73) and the crossing was converted to an Automatic Open Crossing Locally Monitored (AOCL), as it is today.
Kind Regards,
Chris Bellett
