Indoor Meetings
I PHeld at the 'Memorial Hall', The Methodist Church, Redruth, Cornwall.
Meetings are held, as a rule, but please check, on the second Saturday of the month (September - May), commencing at 18.30.
There is limited parking at the Hall but the main car park at 'Flower Pot' is only five minutes walk away. Within the hall there is full disabled access to all areas of the building and there is a disabled toilet.
Directions
Arrival by train: - leave station on 'up' side, cross the road and turn right. Within 75 yards you will come to a junction with Fore St which come up on your left, Higher Fore St continues as a one way road. Looking to your right you will see the large building of the former Methodist Church on your right and alonside this is the impressive frontage of the Memorial Hall block. Carefully cross the road and continue on the narrow pavement alonside the Memorial Hall. After 25 yards you will come to the entrance to and unsufaced car park. Immediately right is the doorway which leads to the Hall up a slight slope
Arrival by car: - From the east, Leave the A30 at the slip road marked 'Helston B3297 and Scorrier A3047'. You will very shortly come to two mini roundabouts, continue more or less straight on for approx 500 yards, passing under the main railway line just before a roundabout. Go two thirds of the way around this roundabout continuing along the A3047 signposted 'Helston B3297 and Scorrier A3047'. After a further 1000 yards another mini roundabout follows. Don't follow the A3047 but ontinue straight on up hill on the A393 for a further 1000 yards. At the top of the hill you will come to another mini roundabout bear left at this (A393) and after 600 yards a double mini roundabout will be encountered. Take the signs for Redruth. It would be a good idea to check this out on Google Earth where by zooming in the location of the Hall and 'Flower Pot' car park can be clearly seen.

Meeting are held in the hall which has comfortable seating. Please make yourself known to members of the committee who will be just inside the hall doorway to book you in and distribute any information relevant to the meeting or Society. Meetings start promptly at 18.30, please be there in good time, otherwise enter quietly. There is a break at about 19.45 at which you can take advantage of our refreshments and peruse our comprehensive bookstall or just chat to fellow members - you'll be assured of a warm welcome. Our refreshements comprise tea, coffee, hot choc or cans of non alcholic drinks. There is usually a variety of biscuits, and crisps etc. Our meetings usually end between 21.00 and 21.30.
