Weekend Wokings and Steam, Sunday 30th November, 2014 By Roger Winnen  With a line closure between Liskeard and Plymouth and a bus replacement service running I decided to have a go in finding what engineering trains were in the locality.

141130d On arrival at Plymouth Railway Station a quick transfer was made to leave the forecourt of the station, cross the main road and head for the next bus to the Tamar Bridge where this engine was stabled. A very difficult location for the sun. Copyright Roger Winnen

141130f After walking from the Royal Albert Bridge I came across this Class 70 stabled at St Budeaux Ferry Road Station. Unable to gain access to the platforms as it was declared a working area (Health & Safety) this photograph of the 70 before it reversed it train towards the viaduct at Weston Mill.
