Morning to you, Here is a picture taken from the down sleepers on the 29th April 1973 and shows 1005 and 1045 passing Chacewater . The up road is under possession as you can see a scaffold tower under the bridge . This was in the days when you had a sleeper and a overnight to the west .
The sleeper was late so i caught this vice the overnight it always had at least one coach for seating accommodation.

1005 Western Venturer heads 1045 Western Viscount towards the bridge at the western end of the Chacewater station area on 29th April 1973. There is clear evidence of replacement woodwork in the bridge sides. One of the Westerns is making smoke as it opens up to dive under the bridge.
