A CRS Appeal
Your stories wanted for our magazine!
We produce our own in-house printed magazine, which is distributed to our members around the world.
We'd love to receive any articles which our website readers (or existing members) may feel fit for inclusion in this publication - stories, memories, photographs - if it's interesting and railway-themed, we'd love to see it.
We'll reward the author of any articles which make it to print with a complimentary copy of the magazine, if they are not already a member.
To submit an article, please simply email us - [email protected] - and we'll pass it along to our magazine editors.
If you enjoy the website and you'd like to help us keep this valuable resource alive for years to come, why not consider becoming a member? An annual membership is just £10, which includes free admission to our regular indoor meetings/shows, copies of the CRS magazine, plus an invitation to our outdoor events in the summer months. We're a friendly bunch, and we are always keen to welcome newcomers to our group.
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway

WIGHT STEAM RAILWAY.
Starting at Smallbrook Junction behind 24 'Calbourne' and 4-wheeled
carriages [which gave an interesting and noisy ride] we went the whole
length of the line to Wootton and back to Haven Street, then I visited
the workshop.
