We know that everything possible was being done to get the service moving as soon as it was was safe so to do.

A summary of events:- The last train to leave Penzance this morning before the track circuiting failed due to flooding was the 05.41, the next departure was the 10.46 to Newton Abbot which actually got away at 11.39.
